The Napa Valley Unified School District Internship Program is designed to allow students to explore a career path BEFORE making college or career decisions. Students have an opportunity to test a career and compare their personality & goals to the opportunities each career provides.

Because all internship opportunities must follow Federal and State Labor Laws, Child Labor Laws and District policies, we do have a refined process to ensure compliance (this translates to paperwork. Think of it as an onboarding, much like the one you will experience in a paid job).

However, students generally find their internship experience to be one of the most rewarding memories of high school!! This is a great opportunity to get that college letter of recommendation, make memories and gain new business contacts and mentorship!

All the you need!

Internship paperwork is electronic

and requires Adobe Acrobat to fill & sign. Click below if you do not have this free program installed- you will not be able to fill out the forms with Google Docs, Viewer or Google Apps. Students will need to download the files to a desktop for electronic completion.
